ketogenic diet

You received a response in October called “an alternative route for management of brain cancer”

And it is filed under metabolism, we have been doing this for my father.

My father has GBM (higher grade glioma than what yours sounds) and we have been doing this successfully for over 19 months. My father’s tumor has shrunk or remained constatant since starting the ketogenic diet. We have great recipes that you could use since those at the hospital taste pretty bad.

My one regret is that I wish we never did the radiation therapy because it was so damaging. I would recommend surgery and this diet for 4 months. If you don’t feel it is working sufficiently consider adding chemo in the form of temador.

I wish we had taken this advice two years ago and not done radiation.

Please let me know if you decide to do it. Many “cures” sound too good to be true- they probably are, this is a difficult diet to follow, but the science behind it is sound and it has worked for us.
