The operational thought here is that as the harp is held against the body the sound waves penetrate the body and provide a healing acoustic vibration to the body. Since it appears to have specificity for neurologic conditions it may prove beneficial to the brain.
Gamma Knife, in the medical tradition, works with Cobalt60/Photons to treat Low Grade Gliomas as well. You can look at the University of Virginias website on Gamma Knife as well for more high tech traditional treatment.
