This sounds fascinating, I wonder how long it will be before academia as a whole catches up with this.
Im a philosophy student at Sheffield University in the UK, and i have often thought that there must be an easier way to show the interrelation of academic ideas in work. Imagine this, students in the future not writing essays, but compiling actual holistic work, no longer would academics have to run the same circles time and time again!
As students, philosophical themes and ideas could be related to whatever you write in your essay, from things as diverse as Platonic ideas of the forms, to Marshall McLuhan`s notion of knowledge and form- you would have so much more freedom by simply showing how your work relates to others, rather than writing about something in a linear format, constantly worrying about peoples responces! amazing stuff
